Registration

  • One-time tasks
  • For this event
    • Send your entry fee to the address displayed in the 'Registration' section
      • Registration is normally ~instant but please allow up to a couple hours
      • Any excess funds you send to the address will be automatically returned to you after the event
      • You will see your name in the players list once registration is complete

Before the Event

  • Add your MTGA gamertag (Example#2468) to your AFoG Profile
  • Export your decklist from the MTGA client and paste it in the mtga-decklists channel in Discord.
    • Making changes to your deck during the event is a disqualifying offense.
    • Waiting until after the event starts to post your decklist is a disqualifying offense.
  • (Optional) Add your Twitch name to your AFoG Profile. Your stream will be embedded on the event page

During the Event

  • Once assigned to a match
    • You have 10 mins to begin
    • Get your opponents MTGA name from "My Matches"
    • Friend/challenge them in MTGA
    • ** IMPORTANT ** - Use "Tournament" mode for the challenge
  • During a match
    • If your opponent is using cards not in their decklist (or if they haven't posted a decklist), please take a screenshot and alert an admin
  • After a match
    • Take a screenshot of the result screen (just in case)
    • Record the results (number of games won/lost in the match) in the "My Matches" table
      • The bracket will be updated when both players record (and agree on) the match result.
  • If players are taking too long to report or disagree on a match result, an admin will get involved to resolve the issue (may ask for victory screenshot) and keep the tournament moving along

After the Event

  • Prizes will be distributed to the winners automatically and instantly once the final match result is recorded
